I've slowed-down considerably since upgrading. If your Mac is as old as mine, you may want to hold off. Snow Leopard will still be compatible for quite some time. And I'm certain Apple will have an update here and there to improve performance on older machines. However, I must confess that I haven't gone over all of my programs with a fine-tooth comb to see if any un-upgraded stuff in the background might be slowing it down.
